We have a 24/7/4 support contract for the 440s, so we tested it a bit.

While this is a new machine (introduced in may 2002 if I recall), this machines fits in the same family as typical PC server. Products like the x335 or x345 are typical rack unit with 1 or 2 P4 processors. But the x440 is really a different beast and it shows: Support people in general have never seen it.
