Upgrading a system with Linuxconf installed may hang

Fedora core delete any Linuxconf package it finds. It does this because back in rh8.0, Linuxconf was deprecated. Now, removing Linuxconf is not a problem, but some users may have installed additional modules depending on Linuxconf. In that case, the following command:

	rpm -e linuxconf

performed by the anaconda upgrade process will fail, since other packaged need Linuxconf. Unfortunately, if this fails, anaconda hangs or exits.

The solution is to remove Linuxconf before the upgrade and install a new version immediately after. No configuration will be lost.
